Location & Directions

Cawaco is located on the second floor of the historic Young and Vann Building in Downtown Birmingham.  Parking is located in the lot off 1st Avenue, behind the building. We are proud to be housed with the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham.

Via I-65 North:

 Take I-65 North to Birmingham.

 Exit downtown onto 3^rd Avenue North, turn right onto 3^rd Avenue North.

Continue on 3^rd Avenue North to 17^th Street, turn right.  17^th Street is one way going South.

From the far left lane of 17^th Street, turn left onto 1^st Avenue North.
After turning left, enter the parking lot in the middle of the 1^st block and turn right into the parking lot.

 Via Hwy 280 North:

Hwy 280 to downtown Birmingham.

Exit 1^st Avenue North, turn left onto 1^st Avenue North.

Continue on 1^st Avenue North to #1731, a 3-story building on the left, at the SW corner of 1^st Avenue North & 18^th Street.  Enter the parking lot on the left.
