The Mission of Cawaco Resource Conservation and Development Council, Inc, is
“Conservation and Wise Use of Resources”

To assist us in effectively carrying out this mission in service to Cawaco’s five-county area, please complete the following survey:

One of the following USDA/NRCS goals must be met for a Cawaco project to be funded.  These are:

  1. Land Conservation- The purpose of which is to control erosion and sediment.
  2. Water Management- Conservation, use, and quality of water, including irrigation and rural water supplies, the mitigation of floods and high water tables, the repair and improvement of water reservoirs.
  3. Community Development- The basis of which is to improve the development of resource-based industry.
  4. Land Management- the purpose of which is energy conservation, including the production of energy crops; the protection of agricultural land as appropriate, from conservation to other uses; farmland protection, and the protection of fish and wildlife habitats.
