Clean Water Partnership

Cawaco Resource Conservation & Development Council, Inc., through a contract with the Alabama Clean Water Partnership, provides project coordination and administrative support for the Black Warrior and the Cahaba River Basin Clean Water Partnership. The Alabama Clean Water Partnership is a statewide nonprofit organization, bringing interested citizen and water users together in a neutral forum in order to identify water related issues and challenges and become part of the solution for long-term water quality improvement and conservation in a non-regulatory way.

This project was partially funded by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management through a Clean Water Act Section 319(h) nonpoint source grant provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency – Region IV.
